Day 2: Discovering Ancient Baghdad & Lecture Two

After breakfast, we’ll explore Old Baghdad, a city layered in history, art, and culture. The journey includes visits to:

• The Taq Kasra (Arch of Ctesiphon), the largest single-span vault of unreinforced brickwork in the world.

Day 3: Babylon, Borsippa & Karbala – Lecture Three

Start your day by heading south to explore:

• The ruins of Ancient Babylon, once ruled by Nebuchadnezzar II.
• The Borsippa Ziggurat, also known as the “Tongue Tower.”

By late afternoon, we reach Karbala, home to the shrines of Imam Hussein and Abbas. After hotel check-in, join us for Lecture Three, an in-depth look at technical analysis, including chart reading, price action, and trend lines.

Day 4: Najaf & Lecture Four – Spiritual Depth and Strategic Depth

Our journey continues to Al-Kifl to see the tomb of Prophet Ezekiel, and then to Wadi al-Salam, the largest cemetery in the world. Then, we visit the shrine of Imam Ali in Najaf.

Today includes a blend of spirituality, history, and nature:

• Visit Armenian churches and the Hassoun Museum in Basra.

• Head to the Mesopotamian Marshes of Chibayish, a UNESCO biosphere reserve.
• End the day with a visit to the Ziggurat of Ur, the best-preserved ziggurat in Iraq.

Day 7: Tello & Return to Baghdad – Lecture Seven
